This is Len Finkill. We have have walked all over the Peak District during the last fifteen years and clocked up over ten thousand miles. Len is now eighty four years young and still going strong !

07/01/06. John on our walk to visit aircraft crash sites. Earlier in the day visibilty was down to 100 Mtrs.

Roger Waddington and me at the Defiant crash site on Sykes Moor. Just a chance meeting. Rodger came up to the site whilst John and me were having our lunch break. Roger is also an enthusiast and has visited and photographed over thirty crash sites to date. We were impressed with his small pocket log book that contained all the photos of his visits. Good hunting Rodger it was a pleasure to meet you !!

Thank you to Terry, Tilly and Kasey for helping me to restore to entrance to the Iron Bridge in Crowden Great Brook. There was a four feet drop off the end prior to our efforts to restore access ! Well done to you all !!
